eLifeVault Privacy Policy

Ablepro, Inc. (“Ablepro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how eLifeVault collects, uses, and safeguards your information. This policy complies with Apple App Store requirements, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable privacy laws.

By using eLifeVault, you consent to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

We do not access your files or collect personal data stored in the app. However, if you contact us for help or feedback, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address

This information is used solely to respond to your inquiries or support requests.

1.2 Usage Data

We use third-party tools (such as Firebase services) to collect anonymized, non-personally identifiable information to help improve app stability, understand app usage, and process subscriptions.

1.3 Sensitive Data

You may store documents, images, or sensitive information locally using eLifeVault. These files:

  • Are saved on your device
  • Are not uploaded to Ablepro servers
  • Remain inaccessible to us, even if backed up to the cloud

2. Data Storage and Security

2.1 Local Storage

  • All files are stored on your device.
  • We do not have access to your local data.
  • You are responsible for enabling device-level security (e.g., PIN, Face ID).

2.2 Cloud Storage (if subscribed)

  • Files may be backed up to your selected provider (e.g., iCloud, Google Drive)
  • Files are encrypted during transfer and at rest
  • You control your backup settings and permissions

3. Permissions Requested

eLifeVault may request access to:

  • Camera – to scan documents and take photos
  • Photo Library – to import existing photos
  • Local Storage – to save files in designated folders
  • Location (Optional) – to tag document metadata

You can revoke permissions anytime in your device settings. Disabling them may limit functionality.

4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

  • We do not sell or share your personal data.
  • We use secure third-party services (e.g., In-App Purchase Plugin) for handling subscriptions.
  • These services collect only anonymized data for performance and stability.
  • We collect Device ID for Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) solely to deliver push notifications.

Firebase (by Google LLC) helps us track app usage and subscriptions. It may collect:

  • Purchase and subscription events (if applicable)

Firebase services we may use include:

  • Firestore Database – to track subscriptions
  • Firebase Cloud Functions – to manage status and updates

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where service providers operate. We implement safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses to comply with applicable laws.

5. Subscription Information (Auto-Renewable Subscriptions)

eLifeVault offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to premium features such as cloud backup and advanced document storage.

  • Monthly Plan: $4.00 USD per month
  • Yearly Plan: $39.99 USD per year (Save 17%)

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may vary by region due to currency exchange rates and local tax laws applied by Apple.

Billing and Auto-Renewal

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period at the rate of your selected plan.

Managing Subscriptions

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s Account Settings.
  • Turning off auto-renewal does not cancel your current subscription. It will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Free Trial

  • eLifeVault does not offer a free trial for any subscription plan. Charges begin immediately upon confirmation of purchase.

Refunds

Subscription Data Handling

  • Subscription status and identifiers may be shared with trusted third-party services (e.g., Firebase) for managing access and app functionality.
  • Ablepro does not store or process any payment information. All transactions are securely handled by Apple.

6. Data Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for processing
  • Request data portability

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill support needs or legal obligations. Under GDPR, our legal bases include consent and legitimate interests in providing and improving the app.

7. Children’s Privacy

eLifeVault is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, contact us immediately.

  • We may update this policy periodically.
  • Changes will be posted within the app.
  • Significant changes may be emailed or displayed in-app.
  • We encourage you to review the policy regularly.
